The global Covid-19 pandemic demonstrated the critical importance of sanitation, hygiene and adequate access to clean water for preventing and containing diseases.

While substantial progress has been made in increasing access to clean drinking water, millions of people (across the world), mostly in rural areas, still lack this basic need. According to worldwide statistics, one in three people do not have access to safe drinking water.

As a part of our Corporate Social Responsibility initiatives, it is for this reason that Mozzart began the Action 100 Wells project that aims to drill 100 boreholes to deliver safe and clean drinking water to 100 communities in Kenya.

Mozzart aims to give back to the society by delivering clean water to the most deserving communities, and we believe this token will make a difference in the lives of all the beneficiaries.

Through this ‘Action 100 Wells’ CSR programme, Mozzart Bet has so far drilled boreholes in more than 10 Counties, and established 13 Fresh water points in some of the neediest communities in Kenya.        

The Boreholes rely fully on Solar Power for pumping and supply of the resource, due to the fact that some villages are still not connected to the National Kenya Power Electricity grid, and where there is Electricity the cost of running the Electric Water Pumps daily will not be financially sustainable in the long run.
