Mozzart Bet has prioritized support to Kenya’s healthcare system as part of its social contribution.

To offer support to healthcare facilities during the current global pandemic, and even post the pandemic, Mozzart kick started this initiative by investing Ksh10 million worth of medical equipment to help fight Coronavirus in 10 county hospitals across Kenya. Healthcare facilities in Nakuru, Siaya, Kisii, Embu, Nyandarua, Baringo, Bomet, Kisumu, Kakamega and Kitui received the first round of donations. The donations included PPE’s for frontline professionals and other assorted medical equipment.

Through this social responsibility action dubbed, ‘Supporting Our Healthcare Facilities', Mozzart Bet is now delivering Intensive Care Unit facilities to the most-needy hospitals, especially in hard to reach areas. 

So far, as leaders in the field of games of chance, Mozzart has donated Critical Care / Maternal Care equipment to 26 hospitals around the country.

The items include crank beds, patient monitors, oxygen concentrators, Oximeters, baby incubators, bedside trolleys, mackintosh mattresses and other essential equipment.

The objective of this action is to improve the working conditions of health workers and establish support to the community.

The Crank Beds have therefore brought comfort to mothers who deliver in their numbers.

The patient monitors will ensure easier and timely monitoring of mothers’ vital signs and taking appropriate action for those not within the normal ranges.

Oxygen concentrators will assist health workers to administer oxygen to mothers who need supplemental oxygen, while the patient lockers will help mothers keep their belongings safe while in the wards.

Beneficiaries of medical equipment donations so far are:  Ngara Health Center, Chemolingot Sub County Hospital, Mathare North Health Center, Kahawa West Health Center, Pumwani Maternity Hospital, Mama Lucy Kibaki Hospital, Kayole 1 Health Center, Kayole 11 Health Center, Nyamache Sub-County Hospital, Rachuonyo Sub-County Hospital, Dandora 1 Health Center, Dandora 11 Health Center, Mukuru Health Center, Kakamega County Referral Hospital, Vihiga County Referral Hospital, Waithaka Health Center, Yala Sub-County Referral Hospital, Molo Sub-County Hospital, Kombewa Sub-County Hospital, Burnt Forest Sub-County Hospital, Iten County Referral Hospital, Kenya National Police Service, Baringo County Helth Services, Homabay Level 5 hospital, Nyamira sub county hospital, Marsabit County hospital.
